- No significant link between anti-union laws and manufacturing employment trends (by state) in the United States.
- North Carolina, which has the lowest rate of unionization in the U.S., lost a third of its manufacturing jobs in the past 10 years.
- Massachusetts and New Hampshire, which have significant high-tech industries, have unionization rates well above the American average and significant high-tech industries.
- A World Bank study found no relationship between the rate of unionization and national economic or employment performance.
- Unions reduce inequality.
- Unions result in higher productivity and lower turnover.
